Very good Good Fair Poor   Customer Reviews Author: PhysioBob Review note from Physiobase eNews Vol 9.9, July 2007 This week we had the pleasure of reviewing the 6th Edition of the Colour Atlas of Anatomy by Rohen, Yokochi & Lutjen-Drecoll 23 Years after its first edition the Atlas has been thoroughly revised and modernised. There are a great deal more dissection photographs and many more CT and MRI scans taken with the latest techniques. This is the GOLD BIBLE of anatomy Atlases. There is simply no other substitute and everyone of you should have this on their desk. I did not get my first edition of this until after graduation which was a real shame as the orientations, clarity and size of the images means you could study for any anatomy spot test straight from this atlas. It contains skeletal images, connective tissue structure and layers (ligaments and connective tissues, fascia and fat tissue as well as layered muscle images and surface anatomy. The indexes are excellent with an overview in the front and specific anatomical features in the back of this hard cover publication. I use it on an almost daily basis to educate patients whilst double checking on landmarks at the same time. What better way to learn! :) So if you have this title already then it's time for an update. Give your old one to a student to help them out.

General Information When you buy this book from the Physio Shop you are in fact dealing directly with one of the world's largest medical publishers, Wolters Kluver Health (WKH). WKH is the parent of companies including Lippincott, Williams and Wilkins and the Anatomical Chart Company. We also try to deliver to you anywhere in the world. Just register and login to the shop to see the shipping price to your destination. These costs are heavily subsidized by the publishers. Unfortunately we are restricted to non-USA sales. We work directly with WKH and their distribution channel in the UK, NBN International, to deliver your items. This means there is no middle man to slow up your delivery. If it is in print/stock and is in their warehouse then they'll get it out to you asap. Your orders are sent directly to the warehouse and are actioned usually within 48hrs during the working week. Sometimes charts and models are on regular re-stocking due to popularity however this is replenished on a weekly basis. If any one item in your purchase is delayed NBN will typically send you what they have in stock and will send on the remainder as soon as it arrives. This is at no additional shipping costs to you. Sending and arriving are however two different things. We send as soon as we can. The mail man and delivery services mean orders can take anything from 48hrs to 3 weeks to arrive depending where in the world you are.
